All sense of purpose, identity, and systems of belief were brought into question. The resultant study, We Believe! A Biblically Based Study for Individuals Seeking a Deeper Understanding of the Christian Faith through Membership in the United Methodist Church has within its pages the answer to these questions. This twelve-lesson faith journey orients the student to the Christian faith and to a Wesleyan understanding of holy living and membership within the United Methodist Church."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799717360897097728,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:17:03.878Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:10:41Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:00:17Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"bbb59493-b248-41b8-a4ff-2f4cd75ea855","accessControl_ssim":["afab661b-44f9-4ade-ad15-e8eb0d9654c1"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["After Nagasaki: personal stories of how the trauma of war impacts faith as told by WWII veterans of the USS Oklahoma city"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:10:40Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:32:13Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["da36b96d-b90e-4447-a581-58727d491b4b"],"hasLease_ssim":["02d61d3d-7eda-4391-a793-a1287a1d60a2"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Michael S Koppel"],"year_tesim":["2005"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. In researching the multi-denominational impact, which determines the influence that each denomination represented in the military has on leadership, position placement and stability within the Chaplaincy, it was discovered that the impact of Christian chaplains had various pros and cons that were not considered in the onset of this project. The initial research methodology, proactive, consisted of questionnaires and telephonic interviews. Further research revealed the need to have verbatim input from troops and feedback from lay personnel in the deployed field. This proved invaluable in assessing multi-denominational impact among military Christians. The research process reflected the need to have global training programs/seminars that foster unity in a pluralistic environment within the United States Air Force Chaplaincy."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799720736413188096,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:10:43.021Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:10:35Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:17:06Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"2dcc0536-9785-4b13-9d63-e4a746ebad54","accessControl_ssim":["1877a7a9-fe43-4095-8978-d018d0905b96"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Open doors: the corporate image of the Latin American Christian community in Geneva"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:10:33Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:28:16Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["acf1e807-fdf0-4ac2-a006-c233c0b94d73"],"hasLease_ssim":["3e44374d-e80d-473c-bbf9-a68f371fa9c5"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Manfred Marquardt"],"year_tesim":["2005"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min.
