It begins with a brief overview of deaf-blindness and the unique educational and psychological factors it presents.  The theological foundations chapter suggest five means of experiencing God that come from the writings of numerous theologians of the past and present.  These five means are explored through the research of individual interviews and the writings of deaf-blind people. The Army is a subculture of eclectic American society.  However, the soldier and family member face unique opportunities, responsibilities, and challenges.  This book of meditations incorporates, through blending biblical research and military experience, Army philosophy and terminology with Christian principles.  Their merger resulted in a compilation of meditations. Each meditation includes a prayer, Scripture, military quotation, spiritual devotional, hymn, and single sentence suggestion on many high-interest subjects. Churches that were declining appeared to have similar program and ministry dynamics. Likewise, churches that were growing numerically seemed to share administrative and programmatic traits. Desiring to maintain a balance between the church's call to evangelism and its need to nurture and care for its members, the author established a model of consultation that would assist congregations to consider what their call to ministry might be at that time in history.  This project-thesis is the test of the effectiveness of the model.  Results have been very positive.  The information about the nature of Christian ministry and the permission given to churches to choose their course of ministry appear to be strengths of the model. The project implements and evaluates religious drama as a viable proclamation tool addressing an important congregational issue.  This thesis examines the issue of suffering using the book of Job.  It establishes a biblical and theological understanding of suffering and addresses the issue through an original drama, sermon and Bible study. Evaluation consists of questionnaires and interviews of drama participants, Bible study members and congregation.
