Sexual minority youth who grow up in the church become alienated from the church as they discover their sexual orientation is different from the majority.  Currently, the only support systems for sexual minority youth are secular. Reconciling churches and clergy welcome sexual minority persons as part of their ministry. This ministry is a contrast to the current climate in our country, our culture, and our churches.
