To explore this notion, the author planned and executed a learning and worship experience that demonstrated and discussed spoken word as sacred art for sacred space. The author explored the father-son metaphors in the Scripture and various warrior traditions and identified valuable ethical elements for a ministry focused on initiation. The diminishing zeal and the passion of the Salesian missionaries prompt me to ask the question 'can the Salesians be more spiritual and sensitive to the Nyishis and their tribal culture so as to incarnate Don Bosco's spirituality and charism in the communities they minister?'
