The author tested six different methods of creating clergy groups, searching for the most effective and simple to set up. Ideally, an in-person group brings the best results for accountability; however, online groups have much to offer in the relief of isolation. Even though the suicide-prevention system targeting the rank and file is quite well-organized and enforced, many officers are excluded from its reach. In recognition of this problem, I sought to test the feasibility of using a trial death education program as a means to help prevent suicide among the army officers. To this end, I designed and put to trial a program of death education especially for the officers within the Korean Army. The founding hypothesis of this study is that death education is capable of helping officers fight the suicidal urge by encouraging them to reflect on themselves and their lives better and more actively. The author explored the implications of missional ecclesiology for leadership and the connection between leadership and imagination.  The author formed and led a six-month group for lay leadership development in which participants considered claims of missional ecclesiology vis-a-vis the congregation's context. The thesis of this paper is that Bowen theory can be a valuable formational resource to pastors for growing in the ability to minister faithfully in the face of the intense anxiety manifesting in congregations. The seminar met one day each month for eight months. This paper offers a theological foundation for pastoral formation, an introduction to the essential elements of Bowen theory, and draws correlations between theology and the theory. The paper includes a description of the curriculum components and learning methodologies used in the seminar. The author created a formal clergy mentoring program consisting of eleven dyads. He recruited the participants, commenced program training, and conducted feedback using written forms and interviews. The clergy mentoring program sufficiently demonstrated the value of clergy mentoring. Eight of the eleven mentoring relationships successfully brought about fruit within the mentees and their ministry settings.
