The project-thesis examines challenges facing clergywomen, especially those serving their second or third appointment. The paper suggests ways to encourage open communication between bishops, district superintendents, female pastors, and local congregations. The importance of support from denominational officials is highlighted. The first body of literature dealt with postmodernity and the generational distinctiveness and nuances of that field. The author claims that Millennials (born between 1982-2000) are the most postmodern generation to date. The second body of literature deals exclusively with postmodernity and its relationship specifically with white-upper-middle-class youth ministry in the United States. In the third and final section, the author interviewed several Millennial students, asking them to share their insights concerning personal cross-cultural immersion experiences done through the local congregation at the Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799718029551992832,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:27:41.557Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:52Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:50:28Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"62a81351-4870-4d86-96cc-c100aac4a36a","accessControl_ssim":["391c62b4-ce4b-4896-b6fd-ef9f492a940d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Rethinking pastoral leadership: feed my sheep"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:51Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:01:17Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["2bb00c8c-ee5c-4cc5-b61f-918ab148aef6"],"hasLease_ssim":["3034aba7-a487-4711-be01-3e5602ffbd04"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Michael S Koppel"],"year_tesim":["2007"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. First the author established the parallels between the ecclesiology of Wesley and the theology of Natural Church Development. The author reports the mixed results of the assessments and makes some observations about the strengths and limits to the application of NCD to the present state of the United Methodist churches Euro-Asia."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791127008013451264,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:37:04.964Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:33Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:18:24Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"36916112-3033-4b73-bb5f-79d0d7d3594b","accessControl_ssim":["36c46f99-4211-4cd5-b963-83d6cce94c82"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Grass roots spiritual ecumenism: ecumenical dialogue in the context of the spirituality of the local church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:32Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:42:45Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["7037111d-f26b-4234-8dd2-101bbf2a1fd9"],"hasLease_ssim":["58b681f2-ef77-4bf8-9770-3d3fc33e0f91"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["John W Crossin"],"year_tesim":["2007"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. The principal idea used was John Wesley's admonition to 'earn all you can, save all you can, and give all you can.' This method can be applied to finances and all aspects of discipleship. The author used a four-week Bible study to examine this holistic method of stewardship. In examining biblical passages in light of the theme for the lesson, he was able to address issues of the stewardship development."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799718960830087168,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:42:29.693Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:22Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:43:03Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"5c3015a2-326a-44bc-b8d0-1038dd9dce4a","accessControl_ssim":["79dabd3c-5447-4241-88fb-36c33471346d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["From shame to glory: the fabric of faith"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:22Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:50:35Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["e36ec2e4-1b04-4f21-b4d0-a896de1740c2"],"hasLease_ssim":["88b90515-73e3-49fd-a1c3-a71505b9f3d5"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Catherine A Kapikian"],"year_tesim":["2007"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min.
