Bridging the gap between these established organizations requires assessment, education, and establishment of a means of inter-organization communication. This project's convergent parallel mixed method of research utilized a survey to assess organizations perceptions and group discussion to assess, educate, and initiate cross-communication. Many members of the church reported that Jehovah's Witnesses came to their homes to distribute literature or promote their organization. The church members also acknowledged that they lacked the skills necessary to engage Jehovah's Witnesses. The project director researched and apologetic methods. The study utilizes autoethnography, literature reviews, and both qualitative and quantitative research to identify five core competencies that are necessary for young clergywomen of color to thrive: self-awareness, strategic thinking, leadership, balance, and cultivating relationships. The author used surveys and interviews to ascertain the meaning images held not only for the individual members but also for pastors, visitors, and the congregation as an entity. The project was expanded to include campus ministries within annual conferences adjacent to the state of Iowa. The research was conducted by means of survey of student participants in campus ministry and personal interview with directors of campus ministry. The results of the research show that campus ministry lacks directions and connection with annual conferences and the local church. During the past decade, at SAUMC, the need to reach the next generation has reached a critical point. The community around the church holds multiple mosaic identities which identifies which were utilized in developing the strategy to reach this narrowed demographic. Current literature on the topic and strategic planning assist in identifying key methodologies St. Andrew's can implement. The millennial generation desires a church that reflects ancient aspects while blending contemporary distinctiveness. This change in ministry thinking, style, and context provides the church with the perfect opportunity to evolve. This project identifies strategies utilized by churches that are successfully reaching the largest and most unchurched population in the United States. The project director used the information to develop a worksohp that will be used at The Pursuit Church Memphis, as well as other churches, churches planting networks, North American Mission Board (NAMB), and denominations that which to plant or revitalize multiethnic churches. My goal in this dissertation is to explore how sincerely and eagerly John Wesley pursued the holiness of heart and life, throughout his life journey.
