The author researched biblical models of leadership transition and interviewed clergy for their input in creating this tool. A draft of this transition tool was used by two congregations during their respective transitions in clergy leadership. The dissertation is made up of a theological part and a pastoral practical part.  In the theological part, I will explore the biblical understanding of diaconia and modern theological understanding. In the practical part, I would like to suggest and practice diaconia ministry by renewing all areas of ministry. This thesis analyzes the effects on local residents through practice of temporal arts (arts based on tempo) as manifested by the Gimpo Youth orchestra and professional artists, and spatial art in the Gochon Church building, which includes Café Theba, Cross gallery, and a professional art hall. It appears from this study that there are faith-specific support programs to be taken into consideration when exploring the concerns of combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD.
