'Baby boomers' in four focus groups contribute their thoughts about preaching and the role they play in preparation and preaching of sermons. A sampling of modern worship, contemporary models, and comments about worship illustrate the worship style of the United Church of Canada. The project describes the experience of St James United Church in Waterdown, Ontario, as the congregation sought to renew worship by introducing a contemporary and additional service.
