The components of the 'Adaptive Courage' model include irrational thoughts, emotional sabotage, relational seclusion, volitional inaction, and spiritual inattentiveness with their counterparts ensnared opportunity, humble confidence, selective vulnerability, incremental tenacity, and simple transcendence. Ten diverse leaders participated in individual intake and teaching sessions and follow-up debriefing and assessment sessions. Where there is moral decay there is abuse and oppression, and consequently many victims.  This project presents a Biblical, psychological and moral approach to the problem of abuse and victimization.  It explains the nature of abuse and characteristics of victims and abusers.  It defines the nature of courage and the seven moral skills that produce it.  Moral courage empowers people to escape from tyranny and abuse, and fulfill God's magnificent will.
