The results illustrated the possibility of this kind of story taking place in other presbyteries.  The method of research implemented was to present the story to three groups of eight asking them to complete a survey.  The survey was used to identify what made the chartering possible. Exegetical and theological studies explore the topic of team leadership as it is presented in Acts 15.  A manual for leadership teams presents a format for making decisions when there is no hierarchy of leadership, describes the task of team member and team leader, and presents strategies for arriving at consensus. The purpose of the study is to develop a crisis consultation model to be used by a third party consultant.  The areas of research include: conflict and conflict management in the church; multiple staff ministry; collaborative ministry versus hierarchical ministry; crisis with a third party consultant.  Two case studies are conducted with follow-up interviews.  The two pastoral staffs that are studied indicate a greater receptivity to dealing with conflict. Openness and better communication are the result.
