It will suggest a way for the denomination to rediscover its unity through the use of the sermonic method of preaching such as the one taught by Dr. Haddon Robinson. Chapter one gives background on why the unity of PCUSA is threatened. Chapter two explores the meaning of the title 'Lord.' Chapter three provides an overview of the theological developments of Christ's lordship, and how the denomiantions creeds and confessions address this subject. Chapter four will discuss how the theological conflict may be resolved. A task force was recruited to investigate methods of announcing the lordship of Christ by adopting the role of journalists for the church.  Its method and results were studied over a period of several months through participation in the group, frequent consultation with the minister of the church, detailed interviews with members of the church.  The written project offers a theological reflection on these activities.
