She reviews historical and contemporary meanings and models of stewardship, emphasizing the contextual and adaptive nature of annual giving campaigns in churches. Her research explores her own experience and the experience of five early adopter congregations with the model. Her findings affirm the liturgical, Christological resonance of the model and its faithfulness and effectiveness. The design of the project utilized an assessment tool to survey adult women between the ages of 20-29. The most prominent finding of this project was that the participants closely to strongly agreed that the daughter's relationship with the father contributed to the feelings of unworthiness in forming a relationship with Christ. Utilizing 'Key United Methodist Beliefs' by Abraham and Watson, laity were theologically empowered and effective in helping non-members and non-baptized adults profess their faith and find a home in the church. Participants were encouraged to set aside engagement in commerce and work (broadly defined), and invited to join with fellow participants in worship and restorative activities.
