Could a multi-site approach enable Episcopal parishes to start new communities of faith? Multi-site structures, defines as one church in multiple locations, have strong biblical and ecclesiological support. Several examples can be found in Anglican history, and the canons fully support this approach. Five parishes were found to have implemented multi-sites in suburban contexts. Their experience was explored and documented as a qualitative multiple case study. Their multi-site approaches proved successful. The author explored literary works in the field of adult student recruiting, existing adult recruiting strategies and models used by other institutions, the demographics of past and current ACHIEVE students, the adult friendliness of the college's student support services, and current recruiting practices.  From the findings of the external and internal exploration, the author developed a strategy for recruiting adult students. If one of these relationships is damaged or left untended, it can cause difficulties in a pastor's spiritual life. After an initial interview six pastors engaged in six spiritual direction sessions and then a final interview. The Control group will be involved in a ten week sermon series covering the ten traits found in the book. The Experimental group will attend the same sermon series, but additionally attend small group studies on the same ten traits, as well as be required to read the Book Becoming a Healthy Disciple. The goal of this thesis project was to explore the impact of the personal discipline of physical activity as a necessity in being a good steward of the body while being faithful to fulfill one's pastoral call. The problem is that clergy, in a sedentary occupation, can become physically unhealthy by engaging in meaningful ministry but neglecting to take care of themselves as they care for others. The scope of this work looks at the Apostle Paul's claim that there is value in being both physically and spiritually healthy. This work listens in on written conversations between professional and spiritually healthy. This work listens in on the written conversations between professional authorities as they consider how physical fitness benefits the spiritual life of clergy. This thesis-project was tested by a three month project where clergy engaged in physical exercise three days a week for thirty minutes and reflected on the impact on their spiritual lives. Se desarrolló una intervención de consejería pastoral basada en los Salmos Bíblicos para ayudar a personas a lidiar con sentimientos depresivos a partir de un acercamiento integrador en lo que a la psicología se refiere. Medidas comparativas entre los resultados de pre- y post-pruebas fueron obtenidas utilizando las escalas desarrolladas por Beck con un grupo de voluntarios, evaluando le efectividad de la intervención propuesta. The author also observed the need of training of biographical preaching among Chinese pastors in Toronto through a survey he conducted. The author believes that genre sensitivity will enhance biographical preaching among pastors. He also conducted a workshop under this project for some Chinese pastors in Toronto, helping his fellow pastors preach biographical sermons faithfully and effectively. Through the change of evangelical ethos and attitude, the EFC has a pressing opportunity to present the gospel to an audience who believes in a system of social cohesiveness dependent upon personal virtue and self-control. For Confucius and the Confucian Chinese, society's harmony relies upon the appropriate behavior (li) of each individual within the social hierarchy.
