Insights and principles were compiled into a training manual.  Five couples were trained. Reading, examination of existing designs, developing and conducting an initial experiment of the caretaking design within the local church, evaluation and revisions formed the essential method of study. Planning resources for a church year are developed. Other research included interviews and workshops at a video conference.  Measuring the response of the viewers to the cable program was difficult. Laypersons were not mobilized sufficiently.  No known commitment to Christ resulted.
