The NGO utilizes committed Christian businessmen to conduct seminars. The project examines the biblical basis of the operation of such an NGO in order to affect positively the marketplace in northern Greece. It also deals with some of the cultural, political, religious, national, and economic distinctives between Greece and the United States of America to assist orienting American businessmen instructors with Greece. This will free congregations from being overly dependent on clergy and evenly distribute the responsibility of ministry throughout the body of Christ. Though these Koreans have been living as Soviets under the old Soviet socialist system, their ethnic identity had been challenged since the October Revolution of 1917.  Now, after the independence of Uzbekistan in 1991, they face once more a crisis in their political and ethnic situation. Due to these circumstances, the identity of Uzbekistan Koreans has gone through changes and become assimilated into the environment. This research presents, in detail, the process of transformation of the ethnic identity of Koreans who were participants in particular historic circumstances of Uzbekistan. The research will analyze from a missiological point of view the significance of  the preservation of and the change in ethnic identity of a minority in a multi-ethnic nation, and suggests a model of mission strategy to Koreans in Uzbekistan based on that analysis. The intervention was based on peer patient narratives and was presented in video format for six consecutive weeks as either spiritually oriented or as factually oriented.  The spiritual transformation scale (STS) score of the spiritually oriented narrative group was significantly greater than the factually oriented narrative group. This project examines the reality of the spiritual struggles faced by students, especially those in the Korean immigrant church, and develops a suitable approach for their spiritual growth. It will suggest a way for the denomination to rediscover its unity through the use of the sermonic method of preaching such as the one taught by Dr. Haddon Robinson. Chapter one gives background on why the unity of PCUSA is threatened. Chapter two explores the meaning of the title 'Lord.' Chapter three provides an overview of the theological developments of Christ's lordship, and how the denomiantions creeds and confessions address this subject. Chapter four will discuss how the theological conflict may be resolved. Through ignorance, lack of training, or misinterpretation of scripture, many pastors encourage unhealthy submission to abusive spouses, offer inappropriate Christian platitudes, and advocate for the 'sacredness of the family' at the expense of a woman's health and life -- compelling women to stay in abusive marriages, thus hindering them from receiving the help they need. Recent research indicates that many of these pastors agree that they are ill-equiped to minister to abused Christian women, and some genuinely desire training and ministry resources to help the women in their congregations. Through literature and professional research, checked by the Bible, the author discusses situations of pastoral sexual misconduct in North America today and Chinese cultural influence on the Chinese ways of dealing with conflicts. Having interviewed leaders from three Chinese churches and analyzed their by-laws, he shows that Chinese churches need to be aware of the negative impact of cultural background on their handling of such cases.
