This thesis states that multimedia presentations will be useful for reaching the 'electronic generations' in the post-literate world.  This project presented the same homily to four different university groups.  Two groups heard the homily and saw a simultaneous video presentation.  The other two heard only the oral/aural presentation.  The participants answered questionnaires, and two groups participated in focus group discussions.  Quantitative results were neutral, with a slight leaning in support of the thesis. Confident in the preemptive power of biblical preaching, the project leader proposes that God's word, faithfully prepared and communicated, is essential to the continuing health of a church's spiritual immune system. The project thus argues for the strategic deployment of biblical texts that sensitize a congregation and her leaders to the inevitability of conflict while equipping them to address conflict redemptively in its early rather than later stages. The project thus proposes to train a new senior pastor and his key leaders in the homiletical skills essential to effective biblical preaching. During this project, the pastor and each leader-participant will be equipped to prepare and present one sermon to their congregation on the subject of biblical admonition, each developed from select biblical texts undergirding this project. Participants will also prepare a second sermon from the following areas of study: God's covenant nature, the priesthood of all believers, an organic view of the Church as community, the Holy Spirit's role in healthy community life, and the Lord's Supper as a strategic window into biblical forgiveness. These sermons further seek to encourage healthy theological reflection accompanied by practical obedience to the texts expressed in a corporate recommitment to the practice of restorative admonition. A church's response to the certainty of human failure within her ranks impacts the credibility of her witness to Christ's forgiveness with those outside the believing community. After an introduction to multi-site church concepts, this ecclesiology develops from Scripture five essential characteristics of a local church and then applies them to multi-site churches. The researcher used quantitative and qualitative surveys along with organizational archival data to evaluate the ministry of E3 Partners. Based upon the perspective of its national hosts, the researcher found that those nationals participating in the E3 model were catalyzed into church planting activities. Utilizing historical research methodology, the author studied the response of CBInternational to the globalization of missions between 1989 and 2004. His research identified both the thinking and the resulting actions of CBInternational. Based on biblical, theological and missiological principles, an analysis of CBInternational's response is presented.
