A comprehensive biblical study concludes:continuing renewal comes through humble worship, dependent prayer and willing obedience to God. These principles are transferable. A Marriage Enrichment Seminar shows that in marriage worship becomes the adoration of the spouse to the exclusion of all other possible mates. Prayer becomes honest, loving communication. Obedience becomes mutual submission. The renewing church must find God's will for the future. Therefore a Long Range Planning Process is part of the project."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31b95ee0-a31c-43dc-8ec9-d97b30239a2d"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131566449098752,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:49:32.226Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T19:32:31Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:19:37Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"4e74926b-ce68-4470-b838-fbfdaf9b43d4","accessControl_ssim":["254cd45e-4174-47d0-8275-e6f6a9bf69de"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Spiritual care for the dying and his/her caregivers"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T19:32:30Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:26:16Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["63677ed6-2b56-4a7a-8e9a-050ef71dc2d0"],"hasLease_ssim":["0ff6415e-56ef-4a2c-9075-9f0b11925f92"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Andover Newton Theological School"],"advisor_tesim":["Demaris S Wehr"],"year_tesim":["1999"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Maureen E Mitchell"],"publisher_tesim":["Andover Newton Theological School"],"subject_tesim":["Church work with the sick","Terminal care"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this thesis was to develop a training program that would pull together the essential elements needed for ministering to the spiritual needs of the dying person and his/her caregivers.
