We are in a constant state of flux that increases at a faster pace each day. Some churches have responded by transitioning from traditional congregations to missional communities. The purpose of this project was to focus on the actions taken to make that transition. I believe without change many congregations wont survive. This translates into a growing fundamental problem with the church's ability to be witnesses of the gospel. The Bible itself testifies to it power to change lives as do the Anglican Reformers; particularly Thomas Cranmer and Richard Hooker. This project builds upon the testimony of these witnesses by leading congregational leaders in a simple Bible reading program. Analysis shows students approach confession in ways that preserve autonomy and guarantee outcomes. Students demonstrate a shallow awareness of a biblical/theological rational for confession of sin. These include the Scripture itself, the theologians from Origen, Augustine and Jerome to Johnathan Edwards, and finally today's students and professors. The conclusion drawn from all sources is that the biblical story is the reason for studying Hebrew. The sooner students become involved in reading the Hebrew Bible, and the more successful they are, the more important Hebrew study will be to them. The interview questions focused on signs of initiative, insight, and spiritual growth occurring during the pastor's 4-month sabbatical.  The exercise did not produce a clear articulation of the parish's mission priorities. This project examines the biblical and historical roots of disciple-making and presents a method of equipping parents to disciple their children. This type of face-to-face disciple-making restores the highly relational nature of Christian discipleship. Through a workshop and ongoing contact with their pastor, parents were mentored in parent-child disciple-making and spent twenty weeks developing a disciple-making relationship with their teenage children. This gap revealed a lack of confidence arising from an inadequate understanding of the depths of connections between baptism and healing. Nine individuals were asked what made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Common influence factors were identified which the group members shared and which made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Using a pro-active research method, members were surveyed and interviewed, resulting in a grief program which includes education, grief groups and systematic follow-up. It was discovered during the project that evangelism was a surprising benefit of the grief process.
