First, the project director researched demographics of the Forest Park area to: (1) identify the Hispanic population, (2) its characteristics, and (3) trends that contributed to the assessment of needs. Second, the project director conducted interviews with local \r\nagencies, churches, schools, and city leaders to ascertain what services and resources are available to the Hispanic population. Third, the project director conducted a Hispanic community survey with a selected group using focus groups to discover what needs and \r\nproblems exist.
