The premise was that people who go to church do not necessarily experience God as heavenly father in their personal lives.     A self-selected group of fifty participants provided the data from a Likert scale questionnaire along with some open-ended questions. The results showed that participants experiences of God as heavenly father generated positive emotions. This is a qualitative research project with a phenomenological strategy of inquiry and was accomplished through surveys, interviews, case studies and focus groups. They may wonder what long-lasting impact the experience has on those who attend. What factors influence whether a worship experience is memorable? This project uses a case study research method to answer the question, 'What is the impact of a whole-brain design of worship and education on the attitudes, actions, and thoughts of congregational members in their everyday lives?' The project analyzes each text with particular attention to its point of entry into the discussion: does the text use Scripture to interpret experience or experience to interpret Scripture? J B Phillips's Your God Is Too Small offers guidelines for development of adequate models and a critical understanding of inadequate models. relationship between the Christian faith and the faith path of Alcoholics Anonymous?  it suggests a common ground can be found in the path of the mystic, and concludes that AA is a legitimate expression of spirituality that can be accepted and trusted by anyone, including
