This project consisted of eleven training sessions and two weekend retreats used to teach biblical humility and the ability to listen by using the formula of the Real Time Strategic Change Method. Findings revealed that the participants grew in the virtue of humility while the change in listening skills were not statistical significant. The researcher designed and implemented an 8-week, 15-hour counseling program to help Christian couples develop greater intimacy through learning how to put off pride and pursue biblically-based, Christ-centered humility before God, in their view of self, and in relationship with one another. The project studied the effect that a Christian humility cultivation experience might have on leaders' understanding and awareness of the amount of prideful attitudes they exhibit, versus their understanding of humility and the amount of humble attitudes they exhibit. Qualitative feedback gained during the humility cultivation experience, along with self-assessment data, formed a solid basis for evaluating the project's effectiveness. The researcher hypothesized that a twenty-hour seminar, in addition to theological training, would impact the participants to be actively involved in Christian leadership that is based on a servanthood concept. The project results, both quantitative and qualitative, suggest that the students as a group changed in their thinking.
