Through his research he showed diverse and practical approaches to create a worship plan. Two points were considered: the analysis of Robert Webber's 'Ancient-Future Worship', and practical approaches in designing worship service at 'Ilsan Kwanglim Methodist Church.' His question was 'What kind of worship services can we create to bring together the younger and older generations at Wondang church?'  He used four steps to bring a united worship in Wondang church: Praise and Worship; Traditional; Blended; and Multisensory and Experiential.  The results were not great because there were some limitations of the existing church.  However he was hopeful for the Korean churches based on his findings. The pastor met with fifteen parishioners during the season of Lent in order to prepare liturgies for the Second Sunday in Easter, Ascension Sunday, and Pentecost Sunday.  The study discusses what worked and what did not work and then proposes a new model.  What began as a study of lay participation in liturgy planning, ended up with some useful insights into the role of the pastor in the congregation.  A number of issues relating to pastoral function and identity as well as the priesthood of believers are raised in the final chapter.
