The goals of this project were assessed by using a five-point agreement scale and three qualitative questions. The findings of the data revealed that the participants gained an ability to identify their core longing wounds and an understanding of how their wounds inhibit their ability to experience God's love. Specific spiritual disciplines were practiced in the group. The data that were collected and analyzed revealed that the Christian believers know, believe and will trust God to heal them through these various forms of healing, but there was some hesitancy when it came to their attitudes concerning the invasive and non-invasive surgery healing. The curriculum encourages participation in spiritual formation exercises, communion, and fellowship that open the way for a deeper relationship with God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The retreat model was reviewed and evaluated by a panel of experts in the fields of spiritual formation and Christian leadership.
