Cultures that are community-oriented consider sin in light of relationships. 'Sin' is a behavior or attitude that alienates a person from those whose relationship he values; that alienation is experienced as shame. The purpose of the practicum was to provide a setting in which counseling skills would be improved and in which awareness of women's experiences would be increased.  The project provided an opportunity for reporting the practicum findings and incorporating this information into theological reflection.
