Examination of historic materials, television broadcasts, web sites, books written by prominent figures in the movement, and interviews revealed that networks and collaborations of clergy reinforce an intricate system of mutual cooperation. Creative mastery of technology and public relations propel the perceptioin of a user-friendly church, a critical factor for success. One must seek to understand the historical and psychosocial dimensions of religious involvement as well.  The method of study for the thesis was the psychosocial, historical, and doctrinal comparison of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Unification Church, and Protestant evangelicals.
