Several New Testament examples were explored in an effort to determine the church's responsibility on behalf of the missing members.  The descriptive method was used in the study.  It was based upon 176 responses to a questionnaire and personal interviews with people who have dropped out of the church.  The responses were evaluated by the Research and Statistics Department of Andrews University. A Likert scale was used.  The results showed very little difference between ABC Wisconsin ministers and ABC USA ministers. The participants in the research were elders in congregations of the Reformed Church in America where the pastor had served at least ten years.  A questionnaire allowed those elders to rank eight areas of ministry and to give an indication of the health of the pastoral relationship. They provided data which proved this hypothesis: given the opportunity, ELC-PNG ministers and administrators can realistically reflect their socio-religious situations, accurately describe their needs in ministry and thereby develop continuing education programs to meet those needs. Research was based on models of education in the Bible, and through an historical survey of ministry formation methods with some examples of alternative methods used in North America.  Questionnaires and interviews were used to determine the need for education by extension among General Baptists. Data from an extensive survey instrument mailed to the pastors is analyzed, conclusions drawn and recommendations made for further study.  The project includes a survey of marriage preparation literature written since 1940 as well as a chapter surveying marriage preparation in biblical literature. The LBW offers rich opportunity for church renewal in the mission of its loving God.  The influences which have minimized liturgy in the church should be rejected and resistance to the historic liturgies removed by persistant and loving shepherding.  Congregational projects and a questionnaire provide research resources. Evaluation of ten years use of the LBW in the congregation concludes that success is measured by effectiveness of the process rather than by an end
