The objectives are to orient the new pastors about ethnicity in the United States, to inform them about the Southern Baptist Convention and to lead them to contextualize the gospel, ecclesiology, and polity in their congregations. The research was done through a series of questionnaires and evaluations which influenced the content of the seminar. The seminar was planned and implemented as a two-hour seminary course.
