The author created a seminar on Orthodox ecclesiology and presented it to nine parish priests who in turn instructed nine different groups of parish council members. Evaluative methods included surveys, field notes, and expert evaluations. Spiritual tensions arise in personal and community contexts when faithful Christian stewardship is not practiced. This Doctor of Ministry Project researched the underlying biblical and historical sources of Orthodox offering practices.  Members of three Orthodox Christian mission parishes were engaged in a dialog, to probe existing beliefs and practices of financial offering and the explore the Orthodox vision of stewardship.
