The discussion focuses on the development of the concept and its later implementation in a Roman Catholic parish. It demonstrates the unique character of collaborative ministry. The process of building collaborative ministry in an archaic parish in a conservative, rural, working-class suburb is outlined. Theological foundations, ecclesiastical and canonical concerns are carefully addressed.
