There is inadequate scholarship addressing conflict resolution within power structures in the Christian workplace. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore how employees of Christian organizations practice self-differentiation while interacting with toxic supervisors. The study utilized a qualitative design using semistructured interviews with nine current and former employees of Christian organizations. This qualitative research project evaluated selected factors that are associated with the contributions of women being valued by leaders of parachurch ministries, including how theological views of headship and cultural views of femininity are associated with the valuing of women's contributions. The qualitative research for this project was conducted through  in-depth interviews in three parachurch ministry settings. A program for development of staff and supervisors is implemented: (1) national student leadership conference, (2) internship, (3) staff training in fundamentals, (4) regional staff training, (5) NVEST, (6) emerging leaders, and (7) MD training.
