The labyrinth can be set up and run in any church no matter how large or small.  it is unique compared to other socio-psychological intervention devices in that it requires no expensive professional psychologist. clinician or therapist to run. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and images using the ethnographic method. The study addressed the emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of children and adolescents with cancer as well as the historical ad contemporary uses of the labyrinth. Five cancer patients were enrolled in the project with their assent and the consent of their parents. The study tries to ascertain whether experiences on these two different labyrinths are equal in quality. Is a walk on a contemporary labyrinth commensurate with a walk on an archetypal labyrinth as a path to inner reflection, healing, transformation, and contemplation of God? The study is not conclusive, but it does illustrate the fact that each individual labyrinth walk as with each individual's path is different.
