It seeks to answer this question through a simple, exegetical inquiry into the meaning of pistis in Romans 3-4 and Galatians 2-3. Pistis is examined because its meaning is the heart of the debate. By looking at Paul's use of pistis in the surrounding context ofsix of the seven occurrences of pistis Christou, this project expands the evidence for a proper translation. It demonstrated the need for theologically conservative women to write and teach other women how to study the Bible in a way faithful to principles of interpretation. The importance of authorial intent is emphasized rather than reader-centered approaches. The instruction of Paul in Titus 2:3-5 as applied to gender-specific hermeneutic suggests that offering women skills for interpretation envisions their unique learning styles and affirms Paul's instruction. Women should use hermeneutical principles of context, exegesis, theological analysis and genre applying these to use by women. Factors related to women teaching women include: intimacy, emotional connection, relationships, details, and the power of small group settings. Three passages from Paul's writings (Eph. 1:4-10; 4:1-16; and 1 Corinthians 12) were researched as they relate to cross-cultural partnerships characterized by grace, including Paul's views of community, use of gifts, use of power, and grace.  The theoretical issues researched focused on Geert Hofstede's dimensions of individualism, power distance, and uncertainty avoidance. Although the project's original purpose was not to convince that Dionysius was the initial Athenian bishop, convert of Paul (Acts 17:34), it emerged from the actual writings and early attestations that no other chronology was as consistent. There is strong possibility that his given Christian name during the Arcanum period was Theophilus (viz his writings). His mentor, John the Evangelist, he called 'Theologus' or 'Hierotheus'.  (Ignatius was called 'Theophorus', etc).
