The project used James and Evelyn Whitehead's method in ministry to research the area of pastoral concern for the author's Baptist congregation.  The project focused upon the teachers' and their students' personality types (Myers-Briggs), learning stages, developing stages, and their faith development stages. The process begins with contextual analysis and theological reflection.  Participants then deal with the practical steps which must be taken to conduct effective teaching ministries.  Study culminates in developing a plan for teaching ministry.  Evaluations indicate positive response to the process.  Members take part and express pride in the ministry. Teachers and leaders work consistently.
