National Guard"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Correlating and coordinating social service providers' support for service members, veterans, and their families would highly improve the accessibility and number of available resources. Bridging the gap between these established organizations requires assessment, education, and establishment of a means of inter-organization communication. This project's convergent parallel mixed method of research utilized a survey to assess organizations perceptions and group discussion to assess, educate, and initiate cross-communication. First, the project examines issues faced by national Guard Chemical soldiers with regard to family reintegration. Second, the project examines Army training doctrine in order to address the reintegration issues. The end goal of the project was to develop a marriage training program that takes place during a retreat format. The retreat would include many of the elements discovered during the research phase. Interviews conducted with soldiers deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom demonstrated that the transition from the civilian to military sector can be overwhelming.  This thesis will demonstrate how Christian National Guard and Reserve soldiers can, through a biblical framework, transition into the Army as their workplace.
