The author first conducts a biblical and theoretical study of the discipling of non-literate believers in an African setting. He then conducted a survey of 314 Zairian young people as a first step toward preparing cassette istructional material. This material was used for five months by cassette monitors and then evaluated. It is designed to serve as a model for the production of indigenous literature and to help the catechists in the Ubangi Region of Zaire proclaim its message in their local parishes.  Under the direction of a national committee, the sermons of the denomination's greatest preachers are transcribed from tape recordings and produced in a two-hundred page book, complete with homiletical suggestions and sermon outlines.
