The project also explored the field of ministry staffing to discover best practices through a review of available resources and interviews with pastors of growing churches. I developed a ministry staffing strategy to guide future staffing philosophy and decision-making at Sonoraville Baptist Church. I led a select team in designing a strategy for the church to  use as a resource and guide when God calls students to pursue a career in vocational ministry. The strategy includes steps based on research into best ministry practices in the field and on survey results from students, parents, and current North Metro staff ministers. This project provides a reproducible framework that churches can adapt to disciple and deploy the next generation of ministry leaders. It also establishes a pathway for ongoing mentorship, evaluation, and support for students sensing a call to vocational ministry. It is hoped that the developed missional pastoral strategy will restore the mission and essence of the church and effectively convey the gospel. Third, the developed missional pastoral strategy is planned to be presented to selected leaders of Peaceland Church and then utilized upon approval by the church. The priority of any Christian church should be discipleship. Without discipleship training, evangelism, missions, worship, and Christians engaging in fellowship with one another, the church’s health will diminish. The mission of the church is to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19). Because of this God-mandated mission, a curriculum for equipping members of the church to become disciple-making leaders is essential for longterm church growth and health. I trained selected Dorsett Shoals Baptist Church members to disciple new, immature Christians, and other church members who want to grow in their Christian faith. I developed the discipleship training by researching the area of discipleship and synthesizing the information into a discipleship curriculum to equip the selected members with essential disciple-making skills. The objective was to develop a strategy that balanced the grace of Jesus with the truth of his gospel, to express love to all while holding to biblical convictions. Based upon a strategy planning model, this project contained four phases. Initially, I surveyed the First Baptist Church  congregation to define the target audience and discover the church culture  relative to issues of sexual identity. The objective of the second phase was to determine best practices by exploring existing models of sexual-identity ministry. The information from the first two steps then informed the development of a sexual-identity family ministry strategy for First Baptist Church, including the selection and training of a strategy planning team who designed the ministry strategy. To conclude the project, I presented the completed ministry strategy to the First Baptist Church staff, who unanimously agreed to integrate the strategy into the church’s discipleship ministry. To attain this goal, I explored literature on the subject of Christian\r\nnationalism and created an annotated bibliography. I determined a response with a biblical view and produced an executive summary..\r\n\r\nThe second project goal was to produce a curriculum with a biblical worldview in\r\nresponse to Christian nationalism. The first step was accomplished by participating in the Instructional Theory and Curriculum Design seminar from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. The first step involved research of FBCS’s Annual Church Profile to determine attendance trends from 2013 to 2022. The project director then surveyed selected church leaders to determine the current state of discipleship within FBCS.\r\n\r\nThe project director researched literature and existing disciple-making models and methods to discover the best practices for FBCS.
