The failed pastor’s family undoubtedly will suffer embarrassment, shame, and emotional duress. It is important to provide a relevant equipping program to transform the young-old from retiree to an active servant of God, thus to live their life fruitfully and meaningfully and accomplish the task given by God which serves to bless the middle old and old-old generation. This paper focuses on two main areas: the transformation principles through the study of the life of Moses from shepherd of the flock to the leader of the Israelite crowd, and a study of the equipping program of the Golden Army of Heaven (GAOH) and modifications of it to suit the Singapore context. They are owner- managers of their business, with the oldest being 63 years of age and the youngest 38. All interviewees were obtained through personal contacts, and the interviews conducted by the author personally. This is limited study that aims to identify the various characteristics of Chinese entrepreneurship, the influence of Confucianism on Chinese entrepreneurship and the reasons why these entrepreneurs started their businesses. It is a study of ten Brethren churches in Singapore. Using the case study method, the study considers the process undertaken by the churches in identifying potential leaders, encouraging and preparing them for leadership, and appointing them to assume full leadership responsibilities in the local churches as elders, thus ensuring leadership continuity. The analysis of the research was synthesized into twelve significant observations. We then applied these principles into our local church to guide us in our pursuit of spiritual renewal.
