Using a methodology developed from Latin@ theologies and the tool of web ethnography, the author studies the web and social media sites of four HSIs in different geographic regions. Critical pedagogies and LatCrit theory provide lenses to evaluate the data gathered through web ethnographies. A university-oriented church is an intergenerational congregation that chooses to be close to a major college or university community, including physically, socially, culturally, and spiritually, and actively engages that community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The author completed a series of interviews with leaders of churches around the United States that are focused on secular university communities.
