The questionnaire method was used among Asian Indian pastors to study certain areas of ministry and the level of networking with established churches.  This project analyzes some aspects of friendship evangelism and traditional methodologies, and will help readers understand Hinduism, biblical Christianity, cultural Christianity, Hindu cultural values and belief systems in order to remove misconceptions, biased feelings, and wrong attitudes. The case studies used are from the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts, but the findings apply to the whole Christian community. I understand that the intent of God since creation was for humanity to be diverse and to live together in harmony. Using my experiences as Area Minister, I explore some of the major barriers we need to overcome in order to create multicultural churches. This project develops a practical design for how the region, a middle judicatory body, can train, empower, affirm, and motivate congregations for evangelism and church development, as the church seeks to faithfully fulfill the Great Commission.  Various approaches to evangelism and church development are explored, with evaluation of evangelistic efforts of other regions and local Disciples churches in Florida. The training has three objectives for the project participants: (1) increase knowledge of the origin, culture, character, theology and religious practices of the target group; (2) develop skill in witnessing; and (3) persevere in witnessing. The project engaged an eight phase process which included the following study: (1) theology of witnessing; (2) knowledge of basic history, culture, and theology and religious practices related to witnessing; (3) presentation of witnessing module; (4) and how to persevere in witnessing.  Testing instruments were also developed to test all goals and objectives.
