Consumerism and individualism, the hallmarks of a free agent culture, are evident and are hindering the process of spiritual formation. The purpose of this project was to analyze the effectiveness of an intentional spiritual formation strategy upon the influence of spiritual free agency in the life of the believer. This study introduced Renovaré and its impact upon consumeristic and individualistic thought."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["6c1e11e8-b66e-47b6-8fe9-6c546c20935c"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134115359096832,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:30:03.057Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:31:38Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:32:42Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"65e8455b-b0cc-4023-ab32-3258cb34bbc4","accessControl_ssim":["c63b0363-ad6f-4a6e-937b-9979eb196d66"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The locus of a call: a comparative study of 'call' and how call is actualized within ethnically diverse Churches of God (Anderson)"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:31:37Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:06:45Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["4da4042a-edfa-446d-84fa-b16f08719a57"],"hasLease_ssim":["559b8556-9e77-44e7-a3a8-c8333948f6e8"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Richard L Gray"],"year_tesim":["2004"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Ouida J Oliphant"],"publisher_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity","Church of God (Anderson, Ind)","Vocation, Ecclesiastical","African American churches","Church work"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Certain churches appear to have an overabundance of ministers and other churches a paucity. The findings of this research suggest that mentoring makes an important contribution to the development of pastors.
