Learning focused on betrayal harmartiology, definitions, theories, attributional typology, and psychometric assessment need. The researcher's emergent theory is that the journey to healing comprises the stages of 'exile,' 'sojourn,' and 'new promised land;' and victims employed metaphors as progress indicators. When caregivers assist the betrayed to reframe, new metaphors are acquired, grace is experienced, hope is discovered, and the broken encountered God's redemptive purposes."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["fccbc3d7-874c-42e3-8a20-621b107c56c7"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132656568631296,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:06:51.846Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:37:36Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:51:04Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"18a08e41-ca30-4156-be2b-2ece59f939e2","accessControl_ssim":["12ede5a0-621a-4608-9f00-03f2471e3439"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Missional multi-generational churches: how to maximize the traits of multi-generational churches for mission"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:37:35Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:51:04Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["59466be5-97b1-4dfe-9794-c2d68a5c6eb3"],"hasLease_ssim":["4eec86c1-3313-460c-aaf6-85dd50c5e8d9"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"advisor_tesim":["Samuel D Rima"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Richard E Stapleton"],"keyword_tesim":["Theory"],"publisher_tesim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"subject_tesim":["Congregations","Christianity and culture","Evangelistic work","Intergenerational relations","Conflict of generations","Strategy","Church growth","Missions--Theory"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["How can the traits of multi-generational churches be maximized for mission? Traits of the generations are discovered through literature review and field research, using the grounded theory method. Because the emphasis of their education and practice is on the needs of their patients and families, these students often have little time to reflect on the profound theological questions that suffering evokes. This project addresses the concern that in the process of dealing with profound suffering in their patients, nursing students do not receive adequate support for their own spiritual formation. Using phenomenological methodology, eleven senior baccalaureate nursing students were interviewed about their experiences with patients who were suffering. The results of the interviews were analyzed, and four themes emerged: the importance of preparation, the need to acknowledge the reality of the situation, the significance of obtaining support, and the necessity of self care. Using the four themes that were identified, the PASS model was developed to assist nursing students as they deal with suffering in their patients."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["fccbc3d7-874c-42e3-8a20-621b107c56c7"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132843072552960,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:09:49.710Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:37:06Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:37:26Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"335052b9-38f6-4a3b-8985-151f0ba4f3fa","accessControl_ssim":["a88a444d-92c3-417a-8dc1-6cf9f9e99761"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Application of pastoral care principles to a study of member attrition in Chinese churches in the Twin Cities"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:37:05Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:37:25Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["7e55abb7-ce18-406d-b7b7-2868334f1473"],"hasLease_ssim":["daafc09a-6452-4c3b-9533-b55f32a90f1b"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"advisor_tesim":["Thomas Correll"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Doris S Ng"],"publisher_tesim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"subject_tesim":["Ex-church members","Church renewal","Asian Americans--Religion","Chinese Americans","Pastoral theology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project endeavored to discover the theological, pastoral and sociological factors that contribute to why Chinese Christians leave the church after their baptism.
