This project focuses on three congregations and how they responded to the inclusion of popular culture in worship and small group studies. This report surveys three churches that engaged popular culture as a lens through which to encounter God and a way to see God active in the world around them. After building a theoretical foundation for contextual worship, the focus turns toward examining its praxis through case studies.
