Questionnaires were administered and interviews conducted with reserve chaplains and congregations that have already experienced a mobilization and had a mobilization agreement. The thesis is that ministry is enhanced, and joy grows when the partnership between pastor(s), staff and members is appreciated and celebrated.  To attain this goal, the project looks at the doctrine of church and ministry, as understood by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and applies it to systems theory.
