Quantitatively, the intervention led to a statistically significant increase from the Daily Spiritual Experience Scale pretest to the posttest. Qualitatively, through student journals and reflections, five clusters of meaning emerged: the adolescent landscape, deeper connection with God, big questions, gratitude, and common nature. Using purposeful sampling in a qualitative research design, the researcher-pastoral counselor describes the treatment of two critical cases in his clinical practice involving two school age boys diagnosed with ADHD. The findings show that the pastoral counselor recognized, understood, and treated the ADHD symptomatic behaviors within the interactional, psychological, and theological experience of the families' systems.
