Through this project, the candidate recruited, trained, and coordinated five teams of senior members in providing spiritual services in four community older adult residential facilities.  The thirteen participating senior believers ministering to other seniors overcame common challenges older adults face and found a renewed passion for service. This project was an attempt to help believers implement practices that would help them become more like Jesus.  Through the support, encouragement, and accountability that came through a small group environment, participants learned how to practice historical spiritual spiritual disciplines, identify those they believed would be most helpful for their Christian growth, and developed a plan to incorporate these into their lives. A men's ministry dinner, ten three-hour equipping sessions, and a four-day retreat were utilized.  Sessions included small and large group discussions, as well as instruction.  The objectives consisted of helping the participants to grow as disciples of Christ, recognizing their calling and value in discipleship ministry, and to engage them in a discipleship relationship with another man.
