The author first heightened parishioners interest in personal evangelism, then demonstrated that personal evangelism was biblical and created a six-part training program to equip them on how to do personal evangelism. Participants were then given the opportunity to implement the principles they learned in order to determine the effectiveness of this strategy. The study demonstrated that personal evangelism is an effective strategy to grow a congregation. It is as if we live together yet inhabit different worlds. This project enlargeds the possibility of discourse between people quite different from one another in interest, theological outlook, power and age -- yet united in the exploration of narrative connections.
