She was guided in self-reflection by Donald Schon's The Reflective Practicioner.  The social action committees of both congregations became more integrated into the life of the churches.  The urban church expanded its corporate involvement, but not the suburban congregation. The primary resource and vehicle for evaluating the current status of chaplaincy in Connecticut's public institutions and making recommendations was an interfaith task force sponsored by the Christian Conference of Connecticut. Second, it describes an eighteen-month spiritual journey with eight lay women and men.  The discipline itself consists of three movements: centering, empowering, and serving.  A series of questionnaires was used to evaluate whether their commitment to ministry and mission deepened. Also, it was a catalyst for a year of exploration about the connection the West Suffield church has with the universal church. Feminist understandings of power and authority are examined from theological, historical and psychological perspectives. Principles of a feminist theory and theology of leadership are applied to case studies of women currently ministering in solo pastor, senior pastor and co-pastor positions.  A feminist framework can provide women with analytical skills necessary to understand issues of power and authority in
