Methodologically project data was derived from survey and interview material using one school as a case study.  The statistical analysis was related to church-relatedness and coherence by reviews of literature in the fields of theology, epistemology, faith development, church-relatedness, and college curriculum development. The findings supported the important role of curricular and co-curricular coherence in church-related higher education. Data was gathered through surveys, written descriptions, and by personal interviews.  The research shows that there is a wide variety of experiences, many related to death and dying, regarded as important to faith; that persons experienced paranormal events; that the classic mystical experience is rare. Five hypotheses were tested: 1) participants will show a greater acceptance of the humanity of Jesus Christ, as indicated in a comparison of their pre- and posttest questionnaires and on their end-of-session questionnaires; 2) participants will be less likely to believe that Jesus was 'complete in his deity,' and more likely to believe that he was 'complete in his humanity;' 3) participants will develop a distinction between 'Jesus' and 'the Christ;' 4) an increased integration of their faith; and 5) a greater clarity in their understanding of Jesus Christ.  Hypotheses 1, 2 and 3 are supported statistically and qualitatively.  Hypothesis 4 is questionable. The study also developed specific roles for the rabbi. The process receives supporting data from 20 churches exhibiting active prison ministries.  The report describes the basic outlines of the consultation process and supporting materials.  The outlines include an introduction to prison ministry, a means to identify and evaluate mission outreach programs, and the development of a mission outreach profile necessary for the examination of 'points of entry' for prison ministry. Nursing plays a critically important role in the delivery of patient spiritual care.  Drawing on both the history and literature of nursing and the descriptive statistical study of clinical nurses and nursing students, the project makes recommendations for clinical and education nursing sectors.  The descriptive study was designed to provide insight to demographic, educational, religious, and spiritual practices as related to the following dimensions of spiritual care: awareness, attitude, practice, and resource support.  Respondents indicated that spiritual care is important and that the practice of spiritual care tended to be more frequent among the theologically conservative, those who engage in personal spiritual practices and the older, more experienced nurse. A comprehensive survey was developed and furnishes new data on the Christology of the United Church of Christ. It was hypothesized that a change in orientation would occur in midlife, precipitated by a crisis and that change would occur in three stages: rule-following/conforming, rule-dismissing/questioning and value-realizing/integrating. Two studies were performed with 62 male ministers.  An attitude survey demonstrated no difference in the ethical orientation by age or denomination but self-reports of midlife crisis were significantly related to the questioning stage. After establishing a PPRC in a local church and identifying the need for a training process, such a process was developed. Four churches in Penn Northeast Conference, UCC, agreed to go through the process to test its effectiveness and each church evaluated the process.  The project showed the process worked. Based on stated theologies of wholeness, prayer, and spiritual direction, it was hypothesized that involvement in this process would enable persons to move toward wholeness.  The project design included a prayer workbook used by participants and instruments used by the author and clergy evaluators in making observations of participant responses.
