This dual model, which sees human nature as fixed with biologically assigned roles for men and women, is contrasted to additional models, most notably a multi-polar anthropology which sees human nature as informed by culture. Clergy couples in team ministry often face tremendous stress because they are unable to separate their professional relationships from their personal relationships.
